When Plan A fails, the mission doesn’t stop.

In AOG logistics, every minute matters. When an aircraft is grounded and waiting for a critical replacement component, there is no time to waste. Having the right people, experience and coordination behind a shipment can make all the difference.

Last night was a perfect example.

With an aircraft grounded for two days and urgently awaiting a replacement component, our team had a plan in place to get the part moving as quickly as possible.

The shipment arrived at London Gatwick, ready to continue its journey with an on-board courier. However, an unexpected issue arose at check-in: the airline refused to accept the shipment.

Not exactly the news you want to hear when an aircraft is waiting for a part.

But in time-critical logistics, the ability to adapt is just as important as the original plan. Rather than losing valuable time, our teams immediately began working together to find another solution.

Through quick communication and close coordination, the operation was redirected from Gatwick to Heathrow. A new routing was secured within the hour, keeping the shipment moving and the recovery effort on track.

Different airport. New plan. Same urgency.

Situations like this highlight what goes into successful AOG recovery. It takes more than arranging transportation. It requires anticipating challenges, making decisions under pressure, communicating across teams and finding solutions when circumstances change unexpectedly.

Because in AOG logistics, things don’t always go to plan. What matters is how quickly you respond when they don’t.

One team. One objective. Keeping aircraft in the sky. ✈️

Reliable. Responsive. Ready.
